Brooke overcame her fear of bounce houses yesterday! There's this cool place for kids in town that's full of bounce houses and other inflatable things. We've gone once before, paid the $5 fee and SAT ON THE BENCH the whole time. This time I kept telling Brooke before we left the house that we were going to the Bounce House and would sound real excited about it. Every time she'd say "YAY, bounce house!". Then we get there and she walks in, stands next to the door and says "I don't want to bounce." Since it was playgroup and other friends of ours were there I told her that would be fine, but we were going to go in and sit down. I took off her shoes and she started wandering around checking it all out. When she saw there was a ball pit - I think that sold her on the idea. At one point she even climbed up the tallest stairs/ladder thing and slid down the slide - without me prompting her. I was shocked (and so excited!!). Hopefully she'll do this well every time and we can go more often.
