Uganda

George left yesterday for a 10-day mission trip to Uganda. He'll be working with an orphanage over there. He also is the designated "preacher" for the trip so he'll be doing several sermons at night. He's only been gone less than 24 hours and I already miss him! The thing that makes this trip harder than most is the lack of communication. He heard that there may or may not be access to the internet at the place they are staying so hopefully there is and I'll be able to get updates from him that way. If not, he'll have a lot of detail sharing to do when he gets back next Saturday. I decided while he was gone would be a great time to visit my parents. It's amazing how much it helps to have relief at the end of the day. I am also going to get to see my cousin and her little boy who was born two months after Hudson & Hallie. I haven't seen them since August - so I'm really excited about that. I also have to say a HUGE thank you to everyone from College Station who has graciously offered to help me out while George is gone. You have no idea how much that means to me! It's so great to be in a church with such awesome people who have such servant's hearts.
