We've been in College Station for three Wednesdays now. I guess it's finally starting to feel normal to be here. I have to be honest...I've felt like a visitor for a while. I think part of it is that we didn't have a "going away" party at Northlake. Our last Sunday there was suprisingly normal and I don't feel like we were able to say goodbye. I'm kind of sad about that. I know we'll see them again because we've still have family up there, but I wish I could have been able to properly say goodbye. So, if you're from Northlake and are reading this... know that I wish it had been different and I wish we could have formally told you how grateful we were to have been able to serve there for 3 years. Maybe that would have given me a little bit of closure that I think is still lacking. I know all of our stuff is here and we don't have a home to go back to up there...but sometimes I do still feel like a tourist in a new city.
