We took the kids to Peter Piper Pizza yesterday. Of course, Hudson & Hallie are a little too young to appreciate the glory of Buffet Pizza, token games and over-valued trinket prizes. Brooke had a good time though!! She really liked the Whack-a-Mole game though. You know this one with the crazy moles who pop out of the holes just begging to be hit by the rubber mallet?! Well, after a bit of coaching from Daddy, she got the hang of it and soon began pounding each mole back into its hole. After a bit of a meltdown, she willingly rode the mechanical motorcycle. It's funny how she'll be super interested in something until it's "her turn" and panic mode sets in! By the time the "ride" stopped she was beginning to enjoy herself. We played one game that earned tickets... so with her eleven tickets (that Mommy & Daddy earned) she picked out a Dora sticker. Picture number three shows her proudly displaying her prize. Finally after naps for everyone - we took a picture of the kids in their Memorial Day red, white & blue.
